DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 12 DFS Picks

Joe Burrow - CIN @ TEN ($6,700)

I’m willing to bet that this article was one of the few that had Joe Burrow highlighted last week. He came through with a monster outing against the Pittsburgh Steelers at minuscule DK ownership. Shout out to us.

I’m staying on the Joey B express this week against my home-state Titans due to both the matchup and Burrows sky-high DFS ceiling. Last week’s 31.7 DK point outing against the Steelers marked the third time in Cincy’s last five that he’s gone for over 30 DK points.

The matchup against Tennessee is a beauty, as the Titans have been routinely torched on the back end this season. They have allowed the third-most passing yards and second-most passing TDs in the NFL this year. As if Burrow isn’t dangerous enough as-is, there’s a chance he could get Ja’Marr Chase back this week in Nashville.

Geno Smith - LV @ SEA ($6,000)

One of 2022's most pleasant surprises, Geno Smith continues to impress as the season progresses. Smith has posted 19 or more DK points in three straight and draws a matchup against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that's been abysmal as of late.

Las Vegas ranks dead last in the NFL in both Total and Pass Defense DVOA. It's a unit that Smith should pick apart. The Seattle pivot leads the league with a remarkable 72.8% completion rate. He also sits inside the top 10 of the NFL in both passing yards (2,474) and passing TDs (17). At $6k, Smith is a rock-solid value play at the QB position on this Week 12 slate.

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 12 DFS Picks

Kenneth Walker III - LV @ SEA ($6,900)

Despite getting just 10 carries in Seattle’s Week 10 loss to Tampa Bay in Germany, the game proved that Walker can’t get scripted out of usage, as the rookie supplemented the lack of carries with a career-high 10 targets against the Bucs.

Walker and the Seahawks are coming off their bye here, and step into an enticing spot against the scuffling Las Vegas Raiders, a squad that ranks last in the NFL in Total Defense DVOA. Vegas has allowed the league’s fifth-most DK points to the RB position and the explosive Walker will look to add to that tally in Week 12.

Jeff Wilson Jr. - HOU @ MIA ($5,900)

Jeff Wilson Jr. is a terrific play in this spot no matter Raheem Mostert’s status, but it certainly doesn’t hurt Wilson’s stock that Mostert has yet to practice this week and can be considered questionable for this matchup against the lowly Houston Texans.

Ahhh yes, the matchup. It’s one we’ve consistently targeted in this article throughout the season, as the Texans are as bad as it gets against the run. Houston ranks dead last in the NFL in fantasy points, rushing yards, and rushing TDs allowed to the RB position.

In addition to the juicy matchup, Wilson’s impressive play since joining the Dolphins makes him a standout DFS target on this slate. His impact has been immediate since a trade deadline deal sent him to South Beach. Wilson logged a 61% snap rate in Miami’s Week 10 victory and converted 19 touches into 143 total yards and a TD.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 12 DFS Picks

Davante Adams - LV @ SEA ($8,600)

Sometimes I don’t get DraftKings…despite posting 30 or more DK points for the third straight game in last week’s win over the Denver Broncos, Davante Adams' price tag has actually decreased by $100 for the Week 12 slate.

With Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow both on IR, Adams has been a one-man wrecking crew for the Raiders passing attack. He’s received a RIDICULOUS 44 (!) total targets over Vegas’ last three and put up video game-type numbers as a result. Adams has posted 413 receiving yards and five TDs on 26 catches since Week 9.

Mike Evans - TB @ CLE ($6,700)

The disappointing Bucs enter Week 12 off a much-needed bye. Quietly the winners of two straight, Tampa Bay comes into this matchup against the Browns perhaps as healthy as they’ve been all year.

Despite their underwhelming 2022, the Bucs - and Evans - head into the stretch run with some encouraging underlying numbers. Tampa’s 67% pass rate stands as the fifth-highest in the league, while Evans is averaging 8.4 targets per game on the season and 10.75 looks per game over the Bucs’ last four.

The veteran enters a Week 12 matchup against the Cleveland Browns sporting a chunky 12.20 aDOT. Cleveland has struggled to stop teams through the air and grades out just 27th in the NFL in Pass Defense DVOA.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 12 DFS Picks

Mark Andrews - BAL @ JAX ($6,500)

Just one game returned from an injury absence, Andrews hasn't flashed his fantasy ceiling in quite some time. He last topped 20 DK points in Week 6.

The dynamic Baltimore tight end won't lie dormant forever. His 93% snap rate against Carolina last week indicates he's fully recovered from nagging knee and shoulder injuries and his eight targets against the Panthers indicate that he's still the unquestioned alpha pass catcher in a Ravens passing offense that's sorely undermanned.

This is an obvious eruption spot for Andrews. Jacksonville ranks dead last in the NFL in positional DVOA against tight ends. The Jags are coughing up a massive 9.14 yards per target to opposing TEs and have little chance of slowing down the talented Andrews.

Logan Thomas - ATL @ WAS ($3,000)

With heavy hitters such as Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and George Kittle all available at the TE position on the Week 12 Main Slate, there's a bit of a "Stars or Scrubs" mindset at the always-tough position this week.

We can either pay all the way up for an elite option or save as much money as possible. Logan Thomas is a unique way to save some salary, as he comes in at just $3k. Thomas has been injured for the majority of the season but comes into a Week 12 contest against the Atlanta Falcons off his best outing of the year.

The Commanders' TE tied season highs in targets (six) and receptions (five) last week while recording a season-high with 65 receiving yards. This is a player that had a nice year in 2021 and as he continues to get healthy, his role in Washington's passing attack should continue to grow down the stretch. It's a nice matchup against a Falcons' defensive unit that has relinquished the fifth-most receiving yards in the NFL to the TE position.
