Week 10 Stream Team - Shallow and Deep-League Pickups

Kipp Heisterman picks his Streamer Teams for Week 10 of the 2020 NFL season. These fantasy football free agents could be valuable streamers and waiver wire pickups or adds for both deep and shallow leagues.

Welcome to Week 10 of the NFL season. Each week we will be providing streamer advice for all of those who need it, which is pretty much anyone and everyone. Streaming players with the best matchups each week as well as during your stud's bye weeks is an integral part of winning a fantasy championship and we are here to provide the best choices week in and week out.

Each week in this article, we will break down streamers for both shallower leagues of 8-10 teams (around 50% rostered or less) and deeper leagues of 14 or more teams (around 30% rostered or less). We will provide a specific roster in each type of league, which will include a QB, RB, WR, TE, and Flex. It should also be noted that if you play in a deep league, but a shallow-league player mentioned here is available in your league, feel free to stream them as

Everything seemed to go off pretty well last week and we did not have any games recommended here canceled. Let's hope Week 10 goes off without a hitch as well. Without further adieu, here are this week's top streaming candidates.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Stream Team for Shallow Leagues (<50% Rostered)

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

43% Rostered

Finding a solid streaming quarterback option at this level of rostership with a solid matchup is rather difficult this week. While the Chargers have only allowed 185 passing yards per game over the previous four weeks, they are still allowing nearly 17 fantasy points per game to the position. Tua should be able to provide some value with his legs as he was able to carry the ball seven times for 35 yards last week in a win at the Cardinals. This could be the perfect time for the Dolphins to turn him loose.

Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams

29% Rostered

I am going out on a limb here and this play is only worth considering if Darrell Henderson Jr. misses time. As of this writing, he is currently sitting out practice with a quad injury. While Coach McVay says he will be fine for the Seahawks game, you can never be too sure with an injury like this. He is worth monitoring and would certainly be expected to have a bigger workload (really, any workload is an uptick right now) if Henderson is unable to suit up. It is also a positive sign that Akers saw nine carries in Week 8's contest at the Dolphins, so perhaps the Rams are finally warming up to him.

Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers

52% Rostered

Samuel and Teddy Bridgewater have been on a roll lately as Samuel has been targeted 20 times and scored twice in the previous three weeks. With the type of volume and production Samuel is seeing, it is hard to ignore him in this spot. The Bucs have had a solid pass defense in 2020, but this game has a projected total of 50.5 and the Panthers are five-point underdogs. This tells me the passing attack could be a focal point for the Panthers, especially considering Christian McCaffrey is expected to miss and the Bucs have allowed the sixth-fewest rushing yards to backs over the previous four weeks.

Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns

49% Rostered

Austin Hooper should return from injury this week and gets a nice matchup vs. the Texans. The Texans have given up the second-most fantasy points to the tight end position on a point per game basis over the previous four weeks by allowing 15 points per game. Hooper had seen 23 targets in his previous three games before having the appendix surgery, so he should be able to hop right back in and find his rapport quickly with Mayfield in this matchup.

Cole Beasley, Buffalo Bills

52% Rostered

Beasley's rostership dropped five percent over the previous week after he put up a dud vs. the Seahawks. This week, he gets another solid matchup and should see a decent amount of volume considering Patrick Peterson will likely be locking down Stefon Diggs. The Cardinals are allowing over 42 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks second-worst in the league behind only the Seahawks. Beasley was averaging seven targets per game before the previous two weeks and I would expect him to be closer to that number this week at the Cardinals as opposed to the two and three targets he received in the previous two weeks, respectively.

Stream Team for Deep Leagues (<30% Rostered)

Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns

32% Rostered

Mayfield is in a great spot this week vs. the Texans. The Texans are allowing 306 passing yards per game over the previous four weeks, which ranks fourth-worst in the league. The game also has a total currently sitting at 50.5, which should mean plenty of passing. Mayfield has also had two solid games in his previous four weeks and should be in line for another in this one as the Texans will likely be able to exploit the Browns' secondary and force Mayfield to throw to keep up.

Wayne Gallman, New York Giants

28% Rostered

Gallman is a volume play as most running backs tend to be in this column. He has had double-digit carries in the previous three games and appears to be the main back in the Giants' backfield. He will be facing an Eagles Defense that has allowed just over 80 rushing yards per game to running backs over the previous four weeks. They are also allowing close to 15 fantasy points per game to the position over that same span.

Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears

11% Rostered

I am going to go right back to Mooney this week after he hauled in five of 11 targets last week for 43 yards. He will be going up against the Vikings who have allowed over 40 points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks fifth-worst in the league. They have allowed 15 receptions per game to wide receivers over the same span, which should bode well for Mooney as he has seen 24 targets across the previous three games and is quickly becoming a favorite of Nick Foles.

Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team

34% Rostered

Logan Thomas will be facing the Lions who have struggled a bit as of late against the tight end position. In the previous four weeks, the Lions have allowed nearly 13 points per game to the position. which ranks seventh-worst in the league. They have given up nearly five receptions per game and Thomas is averaging nearly six targets per game. They have also allowed three touchdowns across that span and Thomas has scored twice in his previous three games. This could be a solid match for Thomas in this one.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

17% Rostered

This game will likely be an Aaron Jones game, but there is some appeal with MVS in this one. He saw four targets last week and managed to turn those into 53 receiving yards and two scores. While he is not likely to score twice again this week, the four targets are right in line with his season average of five per game and he has a solid matchup vs. the Jaguars secondary. The Jags have allowed over 34 points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks them 13th-worst in the league. They have given up a total of 35 receptions, 584 receiving yards, and three scores across this span, which equates to three games.
