Tank Dell fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Tank Dell for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR24
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell had an impressive rookie year before suffering a season-ending injury. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been as good in 2024, ranking as the WR58 for the season, averaging 7.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The second-year wide receiver has seen four or fewer targets in three of the past four contests, including back-to-back weeks.
However, Dell is prime for a second-half breakout. The Texans lost Stefon Diggs to a torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Meanwhile, Nico Collins (hamstring) is still a week or two away from returning to the lineup.

Dell faces the New York Jets on Thursday night. While the team has an elite secondary on paper, they have struggled to slow down wide receivers lately. They had no trouble stopping the New England Patriots’ lackluster receiving core in Week 8. However, the Jets gave up 162 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 32.2 fantasy points to the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver core the week before.
