Romeo Doubs Week 10 Waiver Wire Outlook
Second-year wide receiver Romeo Doubs hasn't had the best 2023 season, but he has shown a strong ability to find the end zone this year. While he only has two games this season with over 50 receiving yards, he's made up for it with five touchdown receptions this season.
Last week against the Los Angeles Rams, Doubs had three receptions for 36 yards. It was one of his worst showings of the season. But does it mean that fantasy managers should shy away from Doubs?
Not necessarily. Christian Watson entered concussion protocol this week and is also dealing with chest and back injuries. While it sounds like his outlook is positive and he could play in Week 10, it's still a situation worth monitoring. In the six career games that Doubs has played without Watson, he's averaged 11.55 PPR points per game.
Should I Pickup Romeo Doubs in Week 10?
It's not yet clear if Christian Watson will miss the team's Week 10 meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers or not, but fantasy managers who need help at wideout should go ahead and grab Doubs just in case.
If Watson is ruled out, Doubs becomes a fascinating WR3 play based on his past production when Watson has been out of the lineup. Sure, it's hard to trust this Packers team when it comes to fantasy because Jordan Love isn't the most consistent quarterback but an increased workload for Doubs should be good news for fantasy.
