This has been a rough year in fantasy football for the quarterback position. Unfortunately, it's been equally as challenging for some NFL teams. One such team is the New York Jets.
The Jets are sitting at 6-4 and in the running for a playoff spot, but second-year quarterback Zach Wilson has struggled mightily despite a 5-2 record this season. In six games, the quarterback is completing just 55.6 percent of his passes for 1,279 yards and four touchdowns with five interceptions.
An abysmal performance against the Patriots in Week 11 led head coach Robert Saleh to make a change at signal caller, benching Zach Wilson for Mike White. Should fantasy managers add Mike White for fantasy football in Week 12?

Should I Add Mike White for Fantasy Football Week 12?
The Jets are opting to give Mike White a chance to lead the offense over Joe Flacco for Week 12. Thankfully, we do have a small sample size of Mike White as a starting quarterback in 2021 with mixed results.
White played in four games for New York last season and completed 88 of 132 passes (66.6%) for 953 yards and five touchdowns with eight interceptions. His most memorable effort was a 34-31 win against the Cincinnati Bengals where he threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.
White is more of a pocket-passing game manager than anything else, so the fantasy upside is probably limited. But, he does have a variety of weapons at wide receiver and a good, not great, offensive line in front of him. Most importantly, he will have his first game against a terrible Bears defense.
It is hard to justify starting Mike White in Week 12 (since every team will play this week) unless Zach Wilson was your only quarterback in fantasy football. However, there are still eight teams that will have bye weeks between Weeks 13 and 14 this season. White could be a good bench stash for a one-week streamer in those cases.
