ANALYSIS: Shin Soo Choo played his final rehab game on Saturday, and is expected to rejoin the Rangers early this week. The 33-year-old outfielder has already endured two disabled list stints this year, appearing in just one game since April 8. Choo batted .276/.375/.463 with 22 HR, 94 R and 82 RBI in 555 AB last year, and should jump right back into the starting lineup — possibly at the leadoff spot — upon his return, likely spelling Ryan Rua and sending Jurickson Profar down the lineup card.
Choo is a lifetime .281/.382/.453 hitter, and if he can remain healthy, he should have no trouble finding his midseason form pretty quickly. Even in a deep outfield player pool, Choo is worth an immediate add in just about all leagues.
