Ricky Pearsall is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 48% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: With Brandon Aiyuk's season-ending knee injury, Ricky Pearsall's role in the San Francisco 49ers' offense could expand significantly. He should be added to your roster if available.
Week 8 showed us his potential as the Florida product stepped up with Aiyuk out and showcased his explosiveness, including a 39-yard rush. Deebo Samuel Sr. also left that game with a rib injury, opening up even more chances for Pearsall to shine. Fantasy managers should watch Samuel's status closely this week as the 49ers prepare to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

Given the injuries plaguing the 49ers' offense, Pearsall is positioned to see more targets and should be considered as WR3 or flex in deeper leagues, especially 12-team leagues and larger.
While he is not yet a proven fantasy asset, his speed, and playmaking ability make him an intriguing option, especially with the likelihood of more snaps and touches. If Samuel remains sidelined, Pearsall has the potential to deliver solid fantasy points. Bonus: he had a bye week in Week 9, so he may have even been dropped in your league.

The tight end position is often one of misery for fantasy managers. Outside of tight end premium leagues, the position is easily the lowest-scoring in fantasy football among types of players (i.e., QB, WR, RB, and TE), with tight ends often failing to eclipse 10 PPR points per game. Still, having one of the better […]

Veteran wide receivers who are largely forgotten in fantasy leagues and second-year players often present major value to fantasy managers.
