BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 11% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Giants have had a revolving door of wideouts this season for different reasons. It has not been quite steady in terms of knowing what's coming, but Richie James has emerged as the better option on a weekly basis barring a stinker in Week 13.
James didn't appear in any of the W9-W10 slates injured and on a bye, but since returning in Week 11 he's scored 13.8+ PPR points three of four times. He's coming of a season-high in receptions, targets, yards, and touchdowns, let alone total fantasy points scored.
Richie put up 19.1 PPR points to the tune of a 7-reception (on 9 targets), 61-yard, 1-TD effort against Philly at home with Big Blue. He has been nearly automatic at catching passes in the last four weeks with a combined 18-of-21 on passes caught for a total of 170 receiving yards and three touchdowns on three separate games.
James sandwiched a rather putrid mid-season portion (five weeks with fewer than 4.0 PPR points) between a nice start to the year (three games between 8.0 and 11.1 PPR) and WR2-level three games of late (13.8, 15.1, and 19.1 PPR points in three of the last four weeks).
We can't trust James as a weekly WR2 player in fantasy, but he comes with upside and is more than a viable player to roster/start at WR3/Flex slots in any 12+ Team league entering the fantasy playoffs.
