Zay Flowers 2024 Outlook: Baltimore’s WR1 Looks To Build On Strong Rookie Outing
7 months agoAfter being selected with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers finished as a top-30 fantasy WR in his first season. Baltimore proved to be much more pass-heavy under former Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken -- as Lamar Jackson attempted the most passes in his NFL career last season. As a rookie, Flowers led the team with 77 receptions on 108 targets for 858 yards through the air, along with five receiving touchdowns. He also added 56 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Flowers' target share should only increase from 24% considering his target competition almost strictly consists of just Mark Andrews, Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, and Isaiah Likely. It is important to note that the team signed superstar running back Derrick Henry in free agency and could feed more into the run game this season. However, the lack of target competition and Flowers' incredible skill set will keep him as an integral part of this offense regardless. Look for the 23-year-old to be involved in a majority of RPO packages with Jackson and Henry. Considering his current ADP is in the fourth round, you should be targeting Flowers in all drafts and considering him as a high-end WR2 with a substantially high ceiling.
