3 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 1-for-4 in the team's epic comeback to beat the Yankees 8-7 on Sunday. Gurriel singled sharply in the ninth inning as the Astros would go on to score six runs and pick up a victory to end a very successful first half. The 37-year-old is coming off a scorching month of June where he posted an OPS of .934. The underrated hitter has come back to earth through the first portion of July (.194 over his last nine games) but will head into the break slashing .313/.377/.472 with 29 extra-base hits, 44 runs scored and 54 runs batted in through 84 games played.--Joey C - RotoBaller
