Yankees Reinstate Harrison Bader From Injured List
1 year agoThe New York Yankees reinstated outfielder Harrison Bader (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. He should return to the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners and right-hander George Kirby. Bader has been out with a strained right hamstring since the end of May, but he should return to being the team's regular center fielder. In three minor-league rehab games, he went 2-for-12 with five strikeouts, so fantasy managers might want to expect a little rust at the plate. The 29-year-old outfielder was hitting .267 (24-for-90) with two triples, six home runs, 19 RBI, six stolen bases and 14 runs scored in 26 games before his injury, and his power/speed combination makes him worth rostering in mixed fantasy leagues.
