Golf fans will likely remember Will Zalatoris' performance at the Genesis Invitational last year. Not only did the 28-year-old Tour star finish runner-up to Hideki Matsuyama, but he also made an incredible hole-in-one on the par-3 14th hole at The Riviera Country Club to win himself and his caddie new cars. While this year's tournament will be played at Torrey Pines, he could be in line for another spectacular week. At the South Course, golfers will see tight fairways and some of the smallest greens on Tour, and Zalatoris ranks 13th in driving accuracy and eighth in greens in regulation so far this season. He's also had great results at the Farmers Insurance Open in the past, finishing T13 in 2024, runner-up in 2022, and T7 in 2021, and he notoriously raises his baseline in difficult scoring conditions. Zalatoris profiles as a cut-maker with top-10 upside at this week's Genesis Invitational, and he may very well find himself in contention for his second Tour victory come Sunday evening.--Ryan Hickey
