Wil Lutz Ready To Bounce Back In Week 17
12 months agoDenver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz disappointed fantasy managers that started him in the Week 16 loss to the New England Patriots in a game in which he made just one extra point and missed his lone field-goal try. Lutz wasn't fantasy relevant at all early in the year but then had a strong stretch from Weeks 7-11 where he made 14 of 15 field-goal attempts and was successful on four of his five point-after tries to vault him into fantasy relevance. The 29-year-old has cooled off in four games since, though, attempting just four field goals and eight extra points. Despite the Broncos moving to quarterback Jarrett Stidham as their starter for the final two weeks of the regular season, Lutz will have some bounce-back appeal as a low-end starting kicker in fantasy in Week 17 against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that's allowing 24.6 points per game this year.
