5 months agoDallas Mavericks shooting guard Wesley Matthews was the only starter who didn't struggle against Philadelphia on Saturday, leading the team in scoring with 18 points in 25 minutes. He shot 7-for-11 from the field, including 4-for-7 from behind the arc. Luka Doncic managed to get only 14 points on 4-for-16 shooting, DeAndre Jordan settled for eight and Harrison Barnes had seven points to his name. Matthews is an experienced sharpshooter, but he doesn't do much else on most nights, so his fantasy value remains limited. On paper, he gets another good scoring spot on Monday with Dallas hosting the Lakers, who have given up the eighth-most points to opposing shooting guards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
