Wendell Carter Jr. Falls One Rebound Shy Of Double-Double
Wendell Carter Jr. nearly grabbed a double-double on Monday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder but fell one rebound shy. Carter Jr.'s 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal still made for a great box score, but couldn't get the coveted tenth rebound. He already has 13 double-doubles this season and his 9.8 rebounds per game rank him as the 14th-best rebounder in the league. Carter Jr.'s fantasy ceiling is limited because he is only averaging 12 points per game this season. He has only cracked the 20-point plateau twice all year, but maybe games against the Wizards and Pistons will allow him to break the 20-point barrier a third time this season.
