Weather Won't Be A Factor For DeAndre Hopkins
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday for the first time since Oct. 22. The weather forecast on Sunday in Chicago calls for 45 degrees and possible rain, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that weather wouldn't be a factor in whether Hopkins returns to action. "We've just got to be smart with how we use him if he's able to go," Kingsbury said. "Maximize him the best we can and make sure we don't wear him out." Nuk hasn't played since Week 8, so it's understandable to be worried that Arizona might ease him back into the offense if he's active in Week 13. What we do know is that Hopkins' return will be bad news for receivers A.J. Green, Christian Kirk and rookie Rondale Moore.
