Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Logs Three Hits, Homer In Loss
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kept his torrid start to the 2021 campaign going on Friday, collecting three hits and a walk in the team's 6-5 loss to the Red Sox. He slugged his league-leading 19th home run of the season in the sixth inning and also added a single and a double, finishing the game with a run and two RBI. The 22-year-old is up to 50 RBI on the year now to go along with 46 runs and a superb .336/.442/.664 slash line. Guerrero will be on the Triple Crown watch for the remainder of the season since he's showing no signs of slowing down at all.
