Victor Rask Records an Assist in First Game with Minnesota
6 years agoMinnesota Wild center Victor Rask picked up an assist on Zach Parise's game-winning goal on Saturday against the Blue Jackets. It did not take Rask long to make an impact on his new team, registering a point in the first period of his first game with the Wild. He played alongside Zach Parise and fellow recent acquisition Pontus Aberg on Minnesota's third line while seeing 15:22 minutes of ice time. It was a slight uptick in usage for Rask who had been playing on Carolina's fourth line before he was traded. With only seven points in 27 games Rask has displayed little to no fantasy value this year, but with increased usage and playing alongside Parise, who already has 20 goals this season, he may be able to salvage some of this season. Leave Rask on the waiver wire, but in the right situation, he could be a decent bargain play in daily formats if he develops some chemistry with Parise.
