New York Islanders center Valtteri Filppula produced a two-point night on Friday, recording two assists in a 4-3 overtime win at New Jersey. He helped Anders Lee and Nick Leddy to score, providing the primary helper on both occasions. Filppula now has 14 points in 21 games this season. He's skating on the third line, which isn't a good spot to produce offense, and he doesn't get much power-play time either, but Filppula is a very skillful guy and he's even had one three-assist outing this month.
