Colorado Avalanche winger Valeri Nichushkin (upper body) was a late scratch on Tuesday against the Islanders and is considered day-to-day. His absence allowed Alex Newhook to move to the second line. The Avalanche are back in action on Thursday against Arizona, so Nichushkin doesn't have a lot of time to recover and could now end up missing multiple games. The Russian winger has cooled off lately, but he's still having a solid season with 29 points in 37 games. Newhook has notched 21 points in 44 appearances, and he could be a great under-the-radar option for DFS managers on Thursday against an awful Arizona team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
