Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie (undisclosed) will miss his third straight game on Friday night against the St. Louis Blues. Barrie does not have a timetable to return. The slick rearguard produced three goals, 17 assists, seven power-play points, and a plus-13 rating in 23 games. In his absence, Mark Alt draws into the lineup on the third pair while Samuel Girard moves up to the top power-play unit. Girard has value in all formats with the extended role.
