Tyron Smith Expected To Play Thursday
3 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys expect left tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) to play in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday for the Thanksgiving game. "Barring some unforeseen setback this week, he should be ready to play this Thursday," vice president Stephen Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. The Cowboys don't see Smith's injury as something that will linger for the rest of the year. The 30-year-old has missed Dallas' last three games, so it's something to look for to for this offense after a disappointing performance in the Week 11 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Terence Steele has been protecting quarterback Dak Prescott's blind side the last three games with Smith unavailable.
