Tyrese Maxey Not Worried About His Hand Injury
1 year agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey hurt his right hand on a heavy fall in Sunday's blowout win against Portland, but it looks like he won't have to miss any time. Philadelphia's rising star battled through the ailment on Sunday to finish with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. "When I fell on the ground, my funny bone," Maxey said of his injury postgame. "The whole side of my hand is a little numb, but I think I'll be OK. Life goes on." The Sixers won't be in action again until Nov. 1, so Maxey will get several days off to recover from the injury. The 22-year-old has been fantastic to kick off the year, averaging 30.3 points per game with 56 percent shooting from deep and posting 6.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
