Tyler Lockett Unlikely To Be Activated
3 years agoIt's looking unlikely that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett will be activated from the COVID-19 list in time to play on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Rams, according to sources. Lockett is one of nine Seattle players on the COVID list. Fantasy managers were hoping that Lockett would be able to return one negative COVID test in order to be eligible to play in the first week of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues. It's not official yet, but at this point, fantasy managers should have a backup plan ready to go. With Lockett unlikely to play, DK Metcalf will have WR1 upside in a game in which Seattle should be forced to throw often. Freddie Swain and rookie Dee Eskridge will have bigger roles as well, while tight end Gerald Everett could be the No. 2 aerial target for quarterback Russell Wilson.
