Tyler Glasnow Starting Game 1 Of ALDS
5 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays have set their starting rotation for the American League Division Series against the Astros. Tyler Glasnow will go in Game 1 on Friday, followed by Blake Snell in Game 2 and Charlie Morton, who won the wild-card game against the A's, in Game 3. The Rays have an uphill battle to climb against the Astros lights-out starting rotation of Justin Verlander, Gerrit Cole and Zack Greinke, but the Rays shouldn't be ruled out. Glasnow is a promising young arm that posted a 6-1 record, 1.78 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 76 K's in 60 2/3 innings (12 starts). The right-hander missed much of the season with a forearm injury, but he can be dominant when he's on. Glasnow allowed one run while walking one and striking out four in five innings in his lone start against Houston this year back on March 30 in his first start. He'll be a contrarian play in DFS.
