Tyler Glasnow Resumes Throwing Off Mound
Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) is back to throwing off the mound after a brief shutdown due to back soreness, reports Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register. The ace has been on the injured list since April 27 due to shoulder inflammation, so the back soreness that popped up wasn't considered to be serious. Once he does start a minor league rehab stint in the coming weeks, it likely won't be as long as teammate Blake Snell's, since Glasnow was able to get four full starts under his belt before suffering the injury. In those 18 innings, the right-hander posted a 4.50 ERA and 1.28 WHIP.
