Tyler Glasnow Leaves Early Due To Hand Cramping
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow left his start early on Friday against the visiting Atlanta Braves due to cramping in his left, non-throwing hand. It's something that he has dealt with in the past, but it's nothing serious. Before departing early, Glasnow allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out eight in 5 2/3 innings to lower his season ERA to 4.10. With the All-Star break coming next week, there's no reason why Glasnow shouldn't be able to make his first start of the second half of the season. Injuries continue to set the hard-throwing 29-year-old back -- he didn't make his 2023 debut until late May -- but Glasnow is a fantasy ace and a must-start when he's healthy.
