Detroit Red Wings right wing Tyler Bertuzzi will have a phone hearing on Monday due to unsportsmanlike conduct against Matt Calvert of the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. Calvert got into a scuffle with players on the Red Wings bench and ended up spearing Bertuzzi in the stomach when he was trying to pull his stick away. Bertuzzi responded by pulling Calvert towards the bench, taking his glove off, and delivering a punch. Bertuzzi is not a repeat offender, and since the hearing is on the phone, it could be a fine at the minimum or a five-game suspension at the most. Bertuzzi has been a solid depth fantasy piece this season with nine goals, seven assists, 28 penalty minutes, and 40 hits through 27 games. A post updating Bertuzzi's hearing will come later on Monday.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
