1 year agoArizona Cardinals second-year tight end Trey McBride (undisclosed) returned to training camp practice on Tuesday after missing some time in the last week with an undisclosed injury. McBride's absence has been notable, as he has been the team's No. 1 tight end with Zach Ertz (knee) currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list. The former 55th overall pick was Arizona's primary pass-catching tight end threat in the second half in 2022 after Ertz tore his ACL in Week 10. He finished with 25 receptions for 234 yards and one touchdown to close out his rookie campaign after Ertz was hurt. McBride could open the year as the No. 1 TE in the desert, but Ertz will eventually return. McBride will be a low-end TE2 streaming option for as long as Ertz remains out with quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) also not expected to be ready for Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
