Trevor Story Named To All-Star Team
5 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story was elected to the All-Star team on Sunday even though he continues to be sidelined due to a thumb injury. Story has had a remarkable start to the season, hitting .294 with 17 home runs, 20 doubles, 48 RBI, 65 runs scored, and 12 stolen bases. He's on pace for another 30/20 season like last year, and he's doing it while playing improved defense at shortstop. He's been regular on highlight reels this season, and he's expected to be back with the big club on Tuesday, as he finished up a rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque this weekend. This will be Story's second All-Star game.
