Travis Homer Sees More Action
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer saw an increased workload in his second preseason game on Saturday against the Chargers. Homer carried the ball nine times for 27 yards, and while nothing he did was terribly impressive, it's good to see him getting a bump in chances. The sixth-rounder from this year's draft is a long shot to make the roster, but he's generated a little buzz throughout camp. He'll likely need quite a few injuries in order to find real chances, but it wouldn't be the first time Seattle's running back corps has had to dig deep as the season wore on.
