Cleveland Guardians second base prospect Travis Bazzana went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run on Thursday evening. The reigning first-overall pick has begun to find his footing at High-A as he is currently holding a strong .310/.396/.524 line with one home run, six doubles, and three swiped bags across his previous 11 games. In his first nine games of professional ball, the Oregon State product struggled with a mere .156/.357/.281 line. Bazzana is currently ranked as the top prospect in the Cleveland system and the No.12 overall in the sport on MLB.com. Bazzana will be a popular pick in first-year-player drafts, given his elite prospect pedigree, as he could spend most of next summer in the upper levels of the minor leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
