7 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug was in the lineup on Thursday night against the Florida Panthers after leaving with an unknown injury in Tuesday night’s match against the Carolina Panthers. Krug managed to fire a game-high eights shots on goal in the match, although Florida goaltender James Reimer was able to turn aside all 46 of Boston’s attempts. There was a play during the second period when Krug received a hip check from a Panthers forward and appeared to be uncomfortable immediately after, but he finished the match with 26:35 of time on ice, another game high, regardless. It can be assumed that Krug should be good to go on Saturday night when the Bruins play the Tampa Bay Lightning, barring any setback.--Alex McKenzie
