6 years agoTony Finau continued his excellent play in the BMW Championship, finishing in a tie for eighth place. The result marked Finau's third consecutive top-10 finish in the FedEx Cup playoffs. The rising star has had the best season of his young career. Finau qualified for the season finale Tour Championship. He heads to East Lake at third place in the FedEx points standings and has a very realistic chance of capturing the FedEx Cup title. Finau received more good news this week when Jim Furyk named him as his final captain's pick for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
