Probably a better play at the original host site, Riviera Country Club, Tommy Fleetwood still makes for a person of interest ahead of Thursday at Torrey Pines. Through only two events played this season (One PGA Tour and one DP World Tour event), the 34-year-old has gained over 10 shots on approach and is averaging +0.365 strokes gained off the tee. Putting has ultimately kept him from higher finishes, but if the weather report holds with rain and breezy conditions in at least the first two rounds, it shouldn't play as big of a factor.
