Tim Patrick Leads Broncos Receivers With 26 Yards
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick caught two of his three targets for 26 yards, which led the team's receivers (rookie running back Javonte Williams had 57 receiving yards) in the 28-13 Week 12 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. On a day in which quarterback Teddy Bridgewater injured his shin and attempted only 18 passes, no Broncos player saw more than four targets. It also didn't help that the Broncos never trailed in this game and leaned heavily on their ground attack. Denver should have to throw the ball much more in an important Week 13 divisional date with the Kansas City Chiefs, but in this crowded offense that prefers to run the ball, Patrick will likely remain a low-volume, touchdown-dependent WR4/flex.
