Tim Anderson Back At Shortstop For White Sox
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is back at the 6 and is hitting second on Monday in the series opener against the Los Angeles Angels and left-hander Reid Detmers. Anderson missed some time last week with a shoulder injury and returned at second base on Friday and Saturday before sitting out Sunday in the series finale against the Boston Red Sox. Nothing has really gone right for Anderson in 2023 to this point, as he's hitting an uncharacteristic .241 (52-for-216) with nine doubles, 11 RBI, eight stolen bases and 21 runs scored. The 30-year-old two-time All-Star is still searching for his first home run of the season, so he's been an absolute fantasy bust this year. Anderson has only two knocks in his last 30 at-bats over nine games.
