Tiger Woods Stalls In Final Round Of The Memorial
7 years agoTiger Woods could only manage an even-par 72 in the final round of The Memorial tournament Sunday. The mediocre round sent him tumbling down the leaderboard and left him in a tie for 23rd place at nine-under par. The five-time Memorial champion had plenty of looks at birdie Sunday, but was failed by his putter all day. Tiger will leave Muirfield Village disappointed with the finish, but there are several positives for him to take away. His ballstriking was excellent all week, he looked much better off the tee and found greens with ease. The putting is something that Woods will have to fix quickly if he hopes to contend at the upcoming U.S. Open.
