Thriston Lawrence Making PGA Season Debut At Farmers Insurance Open
Thriston Lawrence competed in seven PGA Tour events in 2024, making the cut twice, including a notable fourth-place finish at The Open Championship. However, most of his recent play has been on the European Tour, where his last five results include two missed cuts, a T14, a T30, and a T6. Lawrence ranks in the 41st percentile for greens in regulation from the fairway on approach shots over 200 yards, a range that accounts for more than 26% of all approach shots at Torrey Pines. The Farmers Insurance Open is one of the toughest challenges on the schedule, and with limited PGA Tour experience, Lawrence may be a risky play for fantasy lineups this week.
