10 months agoNew York Islanders goaltender Thomas Greiss will start against his former team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, on Thursday night. The German spent 2014-15 in Pittsburgh, picking up nine wins in 20 appearances. Greiss has put together a nice 4-1-0 record against the Penguins in his career, but it's not an easy matchup for him tonight. The Pens have started to climb out from their slump, and they have won three of their last four games in front of home crowd. Meanwhile, the Isles have lost four of their last five on the road, so Greiss should be avoided on Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
