10 months agoNew York Islanders goaltender Thomas Greiss will start on Saturday night against the Detroit Red Wings. Greiss was brutal in his last appearance on Thursday, allowing five goals on 21 shots to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The German netminder has a 9-6-1 record to go along with a 2.61 goals-against average and .918 save percentage. The Red Wings have been one of the better teams in the league since the end of October, posting a 12-5-2 since October 28. Greiss is a mid-tier fantasy play for Saturday's slate.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
