9 months agoThomas Greiss stopped all 19 shots he faced in Friday's 2-0 victory against the Washington Capitals for his second shutout of the season. The win also helped the Islanders climb the Capitals in the Metropolitan Division, securing first place in head coach Barry Trotz's first game back in D.C. since winning the Stanley Cup last season. The Islanders are also an impressive 7-0-0 in the second game of back-to-back sets. Greiss improved to 14-8-1 with a 2.50 goals-against average and .920 save percentage. He and Robin Lehner have been superb this season for fantasy owners.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
