Lions Defense In A Good Spot For Week 14
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense/special teams is coming off a thrashing at the hands of Todd Gurley and the LA Rams. The Lions allowed Gurley to rush for 132 yards and two touchdowns; it was the first time the Lions allowed 100 yards rushing since Week 9. While Detroit is very banged up with Darius Slay, Kerry Hyder, and Devon Kennard all on the injury report, the team could have their hands full with the Cardinals' David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald this week. However, if those injured Lions are healthy, they could put a lot of pressure on rookie quarterback Josh Rosen, forcing him to make errors. That's a lot of if's but keep in mind those players all practiced in a limited fashion this week so all signs are looking up. Pay attention to the injury reports on Sunday morning, because Detroit has one of the better matchups and are one turnover away from being useful for fantasy.
