Lions Defense Has Challenge With Seattle
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions host the Seahawks at home this Sunday. The defense has been up and down through the first six games of the season, but performed admirably in last week's 32-21 victory over the Brock Osweiler-led Dolphins. They allowed just 322 total yards of offense, the second lowest total of the season. Through six games, Detroit has forced seven turnovers and recorded 21 sacks. This week, they traded for defensive tackle Damon Harrison from the Giants to help bolster their run defense that is allowing 139 yards per game. Harrison will have to go to work fast as Seattle averages 127 yards per game on the ground. Not to mention that Russell Wilson has passed for six touchdowns over their past two games, despite not passing for more than 222 yards. The Lions will certainly have their hands full on Sunday, so if you can find another defense to stream, do it.
