Terry McLaurin Officially Holding Out
Terry McLaurin, who is seeking a new contract, did not report to training camp on Tuesday and is officially a holdout this summer, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. McLaurin wasn't present for the team's conditioning test on Tuesday, which marked the unofficial start of training camp. The 29-year-old pass-catcher is the only Commanders player that isn't accounted for. It doesn't come as a surprise after McLaurin recently said he was disappointed with the direction of contract talks with the team of late. He's seeking a new deal after catching 82 passes for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns in 17 regular-season games in 2024. McLaurin now has five straight seasons of 1,000 receiving yards and is the unquestioned WR1 in D.C. He's due for TD regression, but with Jayden Daniels under center, he profiles as a strong WR2 in fantasy.
