Taylor Trammell Stays Hot, Goes 4-for-4 At Triple-A
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfield prospect Taylor Trammell had a rough first taste of MLB action in 2021 but he's rebounded in a big way since being demoted to Triple-A. The 23-year-old went 4-for-4 on Sunday to raise his batting average to .512. He has 22 hits — including five home runs — in just 10 games. Of concern, Trammell has a modest 2-10 BB-K and his swing-and-miss tendencies at the plate worked against him during his MLB trial when he posted a strikeout rate of 43% in 27 games. The young outfielder has an intriguing mix of power and speed but he still has work to do at the minor league level before getting another shot at The Show.
