Taylor Pendrith Poised For Strong Showing At Farmers Insurance Open
Taylor Pendrith's T45 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii ended an impressive streak of seven straight top-25 finishes. Much of Pendrith's success has come off the tee, where he ranks 20th in strokes gained off the tee, a consistent strength in his game. He finished 2024 ranked fifth in driving distance, averaging 305.4 yards per drive. At Torrey Pines this week, Pendrith's approach play will be tested, as he ranked 120th in approaches from 175-200 yards last season, a distance that accounts for 20% of all approach shots at Torrey Pines. In three prior appearances at the Farmers Insurance Open, Pendrith has finished T16, T60, and most recently, T9 in 2024. He's also an exceptional putter, ranking fifth in strokes gained in putting last season. Pendrith's blend of distance off the tee and putting ability make him a strong contender at the Farmers Insurance Open. At $8,800 on DraftKings, he's a solid choice for fantasy lineups.
