Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte went 3-for-5 and blasted his sixth home run of the season in a win over the San Francisco Giants on Friday. On a night when the Pirates honored Andrew McCutchen in his return to PNC Park, Marte reminded Pittsburgh fans they still have a pretty good player manning center field. Marte got his team on the board quickly, following a Gregory Polanco double with a two-run dinger to left-center field in the first inning. He added singles in the seventh and eighth innings and scored another run. The performance raised Marte's batting average to an even .300, and his 28 runs are good for 10th in baseball.--Matt Wilkes
