Shane Ray Hoping To Revive His Career
2 years agoBuffalo Bills linebacker Shane Ray, a former first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2015, is attempting a comeback in the NFL in 2023 after dealing with various injuries over the last five years. The 30-year-old attended Buffalo's rookie minicamp in May before getting signed for an opportunity to win one of the team's final roster spots this summer. By March of 2019, Ray was out of a job with the Broncos after two injury-limited seasons and four wrist surgeries. The 30-year-old had 12 sacks and 28 QB hits in his first 30 games, so the Bills and Ray are hoping he can find some of that magic again this year to give them more pass-rushing depth. Rays spent the last two seasons playing in Toronto in the CFL.
