Sepp Straka has certainly cooled off since his string of top-10 finishes last Spring, but his recent form has been solid nonetheless. The 31-year-old Austrian has made the cut in eight of his last nine starts dating back to August, most recently including a T9 at the Hero World Challenge in December and a T15 at The Sentry last week. And while has hasn't teed off at Waialae in the last two years, he appears to be a solid course fit. Over the last 36 rounds, Straka ranks 17th in good drives gained, 21st in overall approach, 36th in opportunities gained, and 14th putting from inside 15 feet. He's also gained strokes putting in 9 of his last 12 rounds at Waialae. Straka profiles as a cut-maker with top-20 upside, which seems appropriate as the 20th-most expensive golfer on the Sony Open slate.--Ryan Hickey
